Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance of the Terms

By creating an account or using the Listori platform available at listori.io (the “Platform”), you agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

2. Description of the Service

Listori is a platform for creating digital invitations and managing the guests of your events (weddings, quinceañeras, baptisms, birthdays and more). It allows you to:

  • Create and manage events (weddings and celebrations).
  • Manage guest lists with custom fields.
  • Connect your own WhatsApp Business account to send mass broadcasts using templates approved by Meta.
  • Receive attendance confirmations (RSVPs) through web forms.

3. Registration and Account

To use the Platform, you must create an account with truthful information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for the confidentiality of your password and for all activities carried out from your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

You must be of legal age in your jurisdiction to use Listori.

4. Integration with WhatsApp Business Platform

Listori acts as a Meta Tech Provider. By connecting your WhatsApp Business Account (WABA) through Embedded Signup:

  • The WABA and the phone number are yours. You are responsible for their use, content and compliance with Meta and WhatsApp policies.
  • You bear the costs directly with Meta for each conversation or message sent, according to the WhatsApp Business Platform rates in effect. Listori does not bill or manage these payments.
  • You must comply with the WhatsApp Business Policy, the Messaging Policy and the Meta for Developers Terms.
  • You may only send messages to people who have given you explicit consent (opt-in) to receive them.
  • Listori may suspend your access if it detects misuse, spam or violations of Meta’s policies.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use the Platform to:

  • Send spam, unsolicited messages or misleading communications.
  • Upload data about people without their consent.
  • Infringe the intellectual property rights of third parties.
  • Distribute illegal, offensive, defamatory or discriminatory content.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or to other users’ data, or to circumvent security mechanisms.
  • Reverse engineer the code or the APIs of the Platform.
  • Use the Platform for purposes other than the legitimate management of events.

6. Intellectual Property

Listori, its logo, design, code and documentation are the exclusive property of Listori and are protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to use the Platform in accordance with these Terms.

All content that you upload (events, guest lists, photographs, messages) remains your property. You grant us only the license necessary to process and display such content as part of the service.

7. Guest Data — Your Responsibility

By uploading guest information (names, phone numbers, email addresses), you represent that:

  • You have the consent or legal basis to process that data.
  • You will comply with applicable data protection regulations (GDPR, CCPA, LFPDPPP or others).
  • You are the data controller for that data; Listori acts as the data processor.
  • You will handle any ARCO/GDPR rights request from your guests.

8. Availability and Modifications

We make reasonable efforts to keep the Platform available 24/7, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may carry out maintenance, updates or modifications without prior notice. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features at any time.

9. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if:

  • You breach these Terms or the Privacy Policy.
  • We receive verified reports of abuse, spam or illegal activity.
  • Meta suspends your WABA or notifies us of a violation of its policies.
  • It is required by a competent authority.

You may cancel your account at any time from the settings. Upon cancellation, your data will be deleted in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

10. Limitation of Liability

The Platform is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE,” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Listori shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages.
  • Our total cumulative liability shall not exceed the amounts paid by you to Listori in the last 12 months.
  • We are not responsible for messaging costs charged by Meta, nor for suspensions of your WABA decided by Meta.
  • We are not responsible for data loss resulting from force majeure, cyberattacks on third parties or misuse of your account.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Listori, its employees and providers from and against any claim, damage, loss or expense (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the Platform, your breach of these Terms or your violation of the rights of third parties.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified to you by email or through a notice on the Platform at least 15 days in advance. Your continued use of the Platform after the changes take effect constitutes your acceptance.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the applicable laws of Listori’s country of residence. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be resolved by the competent courts of that jurisdiction, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
